Dryer making a thumping and squealing noise when running
Had to replace front end pulsate support rollers. Removed screws underneath summit in dorsum that held bracket that keeps top in identify. Slid top towards rear and lifted up. Removed 4 screws that hold plastic front end panel in place (inside..2 on each corner) Unplugged front end console electric plugs to remove panel. Opened door..removed 2 screws at bottom of door opening. Removed screws on top of front end panel. Unplugged door switch plug. Removed front console. Removed correct front end roller with nine/16th wrench for nut. Adjustable for back of stud. Lifted upward on pulsate to get roller out. Reversed to install. Left roller a bit harder to get to stud. Removed and installed same as right side. Did not attempt to supersede rear rollers. Have them if needed just very much more than involved to replace.

Screeching during functioning
Establish disassembly video and watched several times. Suspected that one of the pulsate wheels had seized up. Found extreme volume of lint and hair within unit of measurement every bit well as a dryer sheet melted on elevation of heating unit. Forepart left pulsate bike was worn down from lint and hair jamming its motility. Video made it easy, not a actually complicated piece of machinery. Replaced all 4 wheels due to normal wearable on other iii. Wanted to be sure drum evenly balanced on all 4. Parts came chop-chop and were like shooting fish in a barrel to install. My sister and I did this together. Would not recommend doing information technology solitary. Took time to vac and wipe down entire unit. Now it runs so placidity we have to await to see if it is operating. Got a brand new machine out of it, saved a couple of hundred dollars in repair bills, and constitute 11 cents inside the machine. For your own slice of mind, if you have had your dryer for several years, you demand to open information technology upward and clean it out. Its non hard... added note, we are both in our 60'south... so if we tin can do it then tin can you.... Such a feeling of accomplishment, can't purchase that in a shop....

Gas Dryer non getting hot
I noticed the flame would start, then quit later on about 15 seconds. I checked the flame detector, and plant the lenze cracked. I replaced information technology, and it's every bit proficient as golden.
It looked like a hard job to take the drum out to become at the function. But the top was off with 3 screws, the front about 6 I recollect. Then the front end frame, only 4 screws. I think setting the chugalug tentioner was the hardest thing to do.
Washed in 45 minutes, both the chore, and so the next load of laundry.
